A zasto mi izbjeglice i sve druge zrtve ne pocnemo skupljati potpise protiv izbora koju je napravila ta norveska organizacija i time dati priliku toj organizaciji da se ova greska ispravi.Sta je to drugo nego greska? Oni se jednostavno nisu dovoljno raspitali prije nego su joj dali nagradu.

Ja cu napisati svoje misljenje o tome kakvu su gresku napravili kad su joj dali nagradu (i jos 30 000 norveskih para i jednu umjetninu). Pisite i vi.
Ucinicete uslugu tom Univerzitetu ako napisete istinu o Biserko. Najveci paradoks u tome je da je Leo Eitinger prezivio Holokaust a sad su dali nagradu iz njegove fondacije nekome ko je negirao Holokaust. Sjetite se Biserkine izjave da je " Jasenovac - srpski mit". Da ne spominjemo njena brojna djelovanja koja su jednostrana i politizovana-jedina snazna konstanta u njenom " humanitarnom radu" je antisrpska. Ako mi sami ne reagujemo- to nece uciniti niko umjesto nas. Dakle , olovku u ruke i pisite u Oslo jer se moze dogoditi da joj jos daju i Nobelovu nagradu zbog antisrpskog djelovanja.

I am writing to you to express my deepest disappointment in the choice that had been made for this year humanitarian award of the foundation Leo and Lisl Eitinger of University of Oslo. The description of the award says that the award should be awarded to a person that has been committed to human rights issues or have performed outstanding clinical or research activities in areas related to the research areas of the donators (Professor Leo Eitinger).
As I understand, this year’s choice was Sonja Biserko. Unfortunately, people who made that choice were not informed properly and the result is that this year’s award went to a person whom many people see as a pro- Nazi.
Sonja Biserko is certainly not a person that has been committed to human rights issues .Far from it, actually.
Sonja Biserko is actively denying the true about concentration camp Jasenovac( 1941- 1945) and discriminating against Serbian victims in the bloody Balkan war ( 1991-1995).

It is sad to see that from the foundation established by Leo and Lisl Eitinger who devoted their life to promotion of human rights and the fight against injustice and racism -this year’s award went to a recipient who made following public statement: “ Jasenovac is a Serbian myth.”
Please allow me to inform you about Jasenovac so you would get a clearer idea why the statement made by Sonja Biserko, this year recipient of humanitarian award from the Eitinger foundation was so false and in the grave discourse with the very idea of Eitinger foundation.
From August 1941 to April 1945, hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews, and Romas, as well as anti-fascists of many nationalities, were murdered at the death camp known as Jasenovac. Estimates of the total numbers of men, women and children killed there range from 300,000 to 700,000. It happened that the site has not been excavated till mid ‘60s . Even after the research and excavation, data were hidden in order to avoid disturbance in Tito’s idea about “Brotherhood and Unity” between Serbs and Croats. That is why the number of Serbs, Jews and Roma people slaughtered by Croatian Ustashas were never presented accurately.
Unfortunately, Biserko fell in line with those (mostly Croats) who tried to minimize the number of victims .

You can find real names-among them the names of my great-grandfather, grandmother and grandfather, two uncles, and three aunts. They were people once, not a myth as Biserko is heard saying.
That is why I am writing this letter to you.
Also, I am a Serbian refugee from Croatia.
In the moment of Croatia reestablishment in 1991 , first time after fascist Croatia disintegrated in 1945, I had to flee in fear of my life along with other 800 000 Serbs.
At the moment there is claim about that genocide in front of International Court of Justice in Hague.
Human rights leaders should not be discriminatory and choose a side. Unfortunately, Biserko chose side – the side of Croats .
Serbs as victims- is unknown factor in her “humanitarian work”.
The only thing that Biserko can be hypocritically heard saying about Serbs from Croatia is- that they should return. To return where, I am asking you? To the place where Serbian population from an almost 50 % of population in 1940., now count only 4.4 % as a result of genocide ?No, that would not be right and humane. But one can easily find Biserko enlisting that particular kind of proposal as the highlight of her “accomplishments”. Allow me to compare her “ achievement” with proposal of return for Serbs to Croatia to a return to Germany of the “MS St. Louis” , a German ocean liner most notable for a single voyage in 1939, in which her captain tried to find homes for the 937 German Jewish refugees after they were denied entry to Cuba.

Sonja Biserko is also well known in the Balkan area to be a highly political spokesperson, in most instances it is on the side against Serbian people and Serbian victims. For example, she is pushing Srebrenica as genocide (where Muslims captive soldiers were killed by Serbs) before any other suffering in that bloody Balkan war in 1991-95. That is not right. Human rights should be equal for everyone and not just for the victims she prefers. ….Nor she would recognize that Serbs were victims and refugees, either. She prefers in her statements formal Croatian line- that Serbs left Croatia out of spitefulness for Croats and to help Milosevic in his hegemonic ideas .For God’s sake, that nonsense that she is talking should end. By receiving yet another award, she will feel even more confident in her smear campaign against Serbs from Croatia.
Why is Biserko discriminating among victims? The only guess I can offer is that it does not fit “her idea” of human rights. As if human rights could be righteously hers to grant or to take away? Plus, her brother was killed fighting on the side of Croats and against Serbs…Maybe that is the reason- if there could be any reason whatsoever for such horrendous discrimination among victims.
Although this is my personal opinion of Sonja Biserko’ s “ humanitarian” achievements and I did not ask for support from institutions and organizations, I can assure you that I am not the only one with that opinion of Sonja Biserko as a false humanist- but there are thousands and thousands of us, we raise our concerns on the social websites and web forums. That widely spread public opinion of Biserko of a false humanist could be easily seen in the comments under You Tube sketches of Biserko’s public appearances, most comments are in line with Biserko regarded as pro- Nazi. One has to wonder: how come that someone like Sonja Biserko , often associated with the Nazi ideas could receive an award from a foundation established by Holocaust survivor ?
Unfortunately, as in freefall and by default that woman continues to receive various international human rights awards and no one is reacting to the voices of thousands and thousands of pained victims.
Please, do your research again and rectify that shameful mistake.
Please, several thousand Serbian victims urging you, do not allow a discriminator to receive such an honor from Eitinger foundation.
PS :I will also send the copy of this email to the United States Institute of Peace in Washington and to the Human Rights Center, University of California at Berkeley, institutions where I have found Sonja Biserko to be falsely presenting herself as a human rights leader. Also, I will try to publish the content of this email to media in order to educate and inform other people in this matter.
Hopefully, someone somewhere will start to analyze her activities and to see the real Sonja Biserko.
